CAPSTONE: NEWSVISION

News Vision Capstone course was my first introduction in compiling stories from start to finish.

We wrote, shot, edited and produced our own packages while also completing other assignments that continue to help me in my career.

NOTE TO SELF

A reflection of our past selves, this assignment was meant to be letter to who we used to be compared to who we are now.

This project was a reflection of our time at Howard as soon to be graduates based off the documentary we watched titled 'The Long Walk'

Each of us was assigned a different ethical case within journalism and tasked with arguing ethical issues within the case.

These are rundown briefs from the first newscast we did as well as our coverage of the 2022 midterm elections

This 30 second promo will be featured in our final newscast with the concept of returning to campus after the COVID 19 pandemic.

This assignment was our first introduction on the different types of stand ups that reporters do in their PKGS.

One of our first assignments of the semester, this assignment was meant to give insight as to how broadcast has developed into what it is today.
